How to organize a small Belgian Beer party for your friends.

When you have a birthday or another party, it is a cool idea to create a bit of Belgian fun. Even your wine drinking friends will love it.
We recommend that you serve the beer in wine-glasses, since you will probably not have the original Belgian beer glasses, although you could buy them from our website. The wine glasses have the advantage that you can serve smaller quantities of the beer. This is a good thing to do, since you want your guests to taste several of these authentic Belgian beers.

And for those of your friends that are afraid of the high alcohol content of the Belgian beers, just let them know that there is less alcohol in the beer than there is in the glass of wine. If alcohol is their worry, Belgian beer is a better choice: excellent taste and aroma, a refreshing drink, and less alcohol.

In a beer tasting there is only one basic rule to respect: start with the beers with the lowest alcohol content, and work upwards from there.

Buy a selection of Belgian beers. The Van Steenberge Sampler pack is a unique tool for you: it contains six different world class beers, six different styles. But don’t stop there: buy a couple of Lambics, and some of our Wallonian specialties like the Sara Buckwheat ale, the Double Enghien Ales or the Scotch de Silly. Make sure you have enough beer for everybody. An 11.2 oz bottle is split in three wine glasses, a 750 ml bottle (champagne bottle) serves 5 wine-glasses.
Lots of success comes your way, if you can tell your friends something surprising and interesting about every beer. Take the time and read up on the beers and the breweries on our website (www.globalbeer.com). You will be surprised about the abundance of information waiting there for you to pick up. Your friends will be flabbergasted about your ‘historical’ knowledge. There is so much to tell about Belgian beer.

To create a Belgian beer ‘look’ for the party, you find plenty of generic or brand-specific authentic Belgian beer stuff on our website: original glasses, beer-mugs, posters, serving trays, playing cards, and much more. Check it out.
Cheers, and have good Belgian fun.
