Study says beer, wine, liquor can help heart.

Dr. J. Michael Gaziano of Harvard Medical School proves in a study that a drink or two a day cuts the risk, of having a heart attack, in half. Until lately, it was only red wine that got the good points. The new study concludes it's only the alcohol in the drinks that helps. Alcohol raises the body's levels of HDL, high-density lipoprotein cholesterol, the good cholesterol that keeps the arteries free of dangerous buildups.
Beer has been brewed since, 10,000 years and maybe longer. People with common sense know since long that a beer or an other alcoholic drink is good for our health. Something consumed by all folks for thousands of years can't be bad. We see the same thing happening off eggs and salt. Two-food-items used all over the world since thousands of years were said, in the last decade, to be bad for our health. Now, recent studies prove that, after all, eggs and salt aren't that bad. The key in life for good health is moderation. That is common sense.

Mr. Gaziano's study says, all forms of alcohol seem to protect the heart equally well, if enjoyed regularly but in modest amounts. Our Belgian Beers have one more important benefit, and that is, that it tastes delicious.
