At De Brabandere Brewery, they have a thing for foeders: big oak barrels that are used to age the mother beer, Petrus Aged Pale. Since its founding in 1894 this beer has been used for blending into other recipes to provide a fresh, slightly tart flavor and a complex aroma.
The three beers within the Petrus Fruited Ale Pack are blends of this magical mother beer and our favorite fruit flavors. Petrus Aged Pale’s tart notes and citrusy flavors enhance the essence of the blended fruit, resulting in a smooth mouthfeel.
