As Bavaria’s oldest Weisse brewery, Schneider Weisse’s varying expressions of the style and their remarkable consistency have been a revelation to the craft brewing world. Since purchasing the rights to brew wheat beer from King Ludwig in 1872, Schneider Weisse is one of the few breweries in the world that focus on mastering one style of beer.  They do not see this as limitation, but a source of endless inspiration.

Schneider Weisse has been able to reach the highest levels of quality while maintaining some key traditional methods like skimming the krausen off their open fermenters, to secondary fermentation in the bottle. Their ingredients are all sourced from the surrounding region and clearly express themselves during the drinking experience. In a style of beer where flavors can be easily muddled, Schneider Weisse is truly a work of art.
